- Asian Handicap
- A handicap system that eliminates the draw option and uses quarter‑goal increments to create balanced betting lines.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for betting, used to manage risk and track performance.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that lets you combine multiple markets from a single match into one customized bet.
- Bookmaker
- A company that sets odds and accepts bets on sports events, acting as the counterparty to the bettor.
- Cashout
- A feature that allows a bettor to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Decimal Odds
- Odds displayed as a single number that includes the stake; multiplying the stake by this number gives total return.
- Dutching
- Placing multiple bets on different selections within the same event to guarantee a profit regardless of which one wins.
- Expected Value
- The average amount a bettor can expect to win or lose per bet if the same odds were repeated many times.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds shown as a fraction; the numerator indicates profit relative to the denominator (the stake).
- Free Bet

- Hedging
